Permittable is now Permavia.
We started by helping architects, builders and developers get residential permit applications complete, code-compliant and ready for approval the first time. That is still at the heart of what we do. But we're growing, and commercial permit review is next. We wanted a name built for where we're going.
Why Permavia
Permavia means “the way of the permit”: perm, for permit, and via, the Latin word for way or road.
Every project has to find its way through permitting, whether it is a backyard ADU or a downtown office building. Our job is to make that way clear: read the plans, check them against the local building, fire and zoning codes, and show what needs to change before you submit. Permavia says that, for every kind of project.
What's next: commercial permit review
Today we review residential plans. Commercial permit review is coming soon, built on the same approach: plans read and checked against the local codes, with every issue tied to the code section behind it. We'll share the details when it launches.
Commercial is the first step.
